The Small Business Administration is available to assist with loans that Banks would otherwise not be able to provide. These kinds of circumstances could be start-up companies, limited down payment or limited collateral.

There are two general categories of SBA loans, the 7(a) and 504.

7(a) Loans

7(a) Working Capital Up to 7 years
Fixed Asset Financing Up to 10 year term
Real Estate Financing Up to 25 year term

504 Loans

Term loans for large capital expenditures, either equipment or real estate 10% owner equity in the project, finance 90%.

504 Fixed Asset financing for Machinery or Real Estate
Long Term Fixed rate loans available with 10% down payment
